Shri Swamiji's Tapas Celebration, Shri Babaji's Birthday and Tapas Celebrations - 2009

There are three very special and auspicious events that devotees will be celebrating in August, September and November:

Shri Swamiji's Tapas Anniversary on Friday 7th August

& Shri Babaji's 55th Birthday on Sunday 20 September

& Shri Babaji's 10th Tapas Anniversary on Monday 2 November.

Babaji will be at the Dehradun Ashram for both His Birthday and Tapas celebration. Local groups around the world will be holding events to join together and celebrate these auspicious days. They are wonderful opportunities for devotees to unite across the globe to honor and show respect to Shri Babaji.

Shri Babaji finished His 5 years of deep meditation Tapas on the full moon day of Karthik Purnima in 1999, having served His Guru with deep devotion and love for the previous 20 years. Such an achievement is extremely rare, to be able to celebrate such an event with a living Realized Master is even more precious. This year is the special 10th anniversary. This will be celebrated at the Dehradun Ashram over 5 days, culminating in a final day of celebrations on November 2nd which is Karthik Purnima (full moon day).
