Question: Can you tell me why God is always referred to as a male entity?
Babaji:
It is only for the sake of understanding, that is all. He can be either he or she, anything is okay. It is not necessary that God is always called male. God is beyond the entity of male and female. Like the mind itself has no such thing as male or female, God is beyond these things. You can address God in any form as a Mother, as a Father, as a male, or a female entity.
Question: Can it not be a person, perhaps an animal, something like that?
Babaji:
Even if you want to address like this it is no problem. God can assume any form or be formless. This means you can believe in God in any form or as formlessness. All that we need to do is respect others beliefs, that is all. Like in Indian culture, God is believed both as Mother and Father. There are many forms of Mother Goddess, and of Father, so there is no harm.
