Question: Baba, I have read conflicting information regarding the soul's journey after death. Some say that if one has a true Guru, that one does not go before the God of Death, Yama, but that the Guru takes care of and protects the soul after death. Some others say that the agents of Yama take the soul and judgement is given out. It is suggested that the Guru has no place in the process of the soul's journey after death. My question is, what happens to the soul of the devotees who Baba has initiated into meditation?
Babaji:
The Guru taking care all depends on the disciple's faith, devotion and sadhana. If these three are there, this enables automatic reception of The Guru's grace and blessings to take care of not going to Yama. The true Guru's blessings, grace and vibrations are always flowing and one needs to receive by having total firm faith, pure hearted devotion and determined sadhana, as guided by the Guru. If a disciple does not or cannot have these three qualities of faith, devotion and sadhana, such a disciple would betray the Guru and deceive his/her own self. When once Baba has initiated a person into dhyana, the Divine Guru will definitely take care of such souls.
