Question: When meditating I see visions and hear sounds of their presence. Is it just imagination of the mind or actual presence to bless or convey a message?

The presence is always there. The more that your mind becomes concentrated having total faith and surrender the more there is the manifested presence starts happening because God is omnipresent, He is everywhere. The more solid the experience is means your mind is closer to God.
