1st day experience - On the first day I vomited thrice but sat through the whole session.
Babaji:
This vomiting could happen that’s why I always tell, after you have taken something to eat you should allow at least a couple of hours so that the food gets digested properly. Because when you are trying to concentrate and if the consciousness is also trying to rise upwards there can be bowel syndrome, vomiting syndrome. These things can happen. That’s why yesterday I teased you all not to have noodles at 6 o’clock in the morning. You can have them after meditation. So if you take care of this if there is nothing in the stomach. There is nothing to vomit.
2nd day experience - On the second day I tried to keep myself awake, thoughts and past memories kept flashing by.
Babaji:
This is a good effort. Trying to keep yourself awake is important. One should not fall asleep in meditation. It is very important. Falling asleep is the status of the brain. If the brain goes to sleep the mind gets kicked off from the reflections and becomes unconscious because it has a lot acquired in it. That is why it has not gone back to the Self. It cannot remain conscious of itself without the help of the brain because it has to be conscious of something. Because it has the acquired habits it cannot be conscious of the Self. If there is no brain it cannot be conscious of this world also that’s when it goes to sleep. So you cannot catch that mind anymore. So you also become unconscious simply that’s why you have to be awake. The brain has to be alert and healthy so that the mind's locations you catch hold and concentrate the mind and make it clear of all the acquired habits. And then such a mind goes back to the Self. Then even if the brain goes to sleep or dies or whatever happens there is no problem.
3rd day experience- Today the whole session was beautiful but tears kept flowing inconsistently.
Babaji:
We are happy that you all have abandoned eating of noodles at 6 O’clock and felt the session beautiful. You see when the meditation happens beautifully concentration is better so it stops, tries to stop. Whenever it is trying to stop you start feeling that taste of enjoyment. Blissfulness happens. At such times tears also can come, such a thing can happen, continue the meditation like that one. In due course of time you can overcome all emotions. They will all settle down peacefully. The mind will settle into peace and satisfaction. Well done. Keep going.
