Shri Babaji in South India, Kolkata and Dehradun
In August, Shri Babaji commenced His annual South Indian tour during which He was based in His Guru’s Ashram in Bangalore. He also travelled to Mysore, where devotees visited historic sites associated with His childhood, as well as Hindupur and Doddaballapur. Large crowds gathered to hear His spiritual teachings and also receive the blessings of such a great Yogi.

Dodaballapur, Hindupur and Mysore
From South India, Shri Babaji traveled to Kolkata for the first time. The satsangs were a great success being attended by many intellectuals who posed incisive spiritual questions as well as several talented classical musicians who participated in the bhajans. Later, Shri Babaji and a small group of devotees had the wonderful opportunity to visit the places connected to the great Master Shri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa - the famous Dakshineswar Temple, Sri Ramakrishna's room, the Panchavati Gardens and Belur Math.
After returning to the Dehradun Ashram, Shri Babaji celebrated Shri Krishna Janmasthami (Shri Krishna’s birthday) with the devotees who were eagerly awaiting His Presence. A midnight puja, bhajans and mass feeding had been organized and were throughly enjoyed by all. A few days later, Babaji was joined by devotees on a visit to Shri Chandra Swamiji's Ashram at the outskirts of Dehradun, where He was warmly hosted. Shri Chandra Swami, is a great Saint who has done vigorous Tapasand maintained Silence for over forty years. It was a spectacular scene, sitting at the feet of two Masters on the banks of the Yamuna River and in the shadows of the foothills of the Himalayas.
