2017 Aug 7, Special Ceremony in Bangalore Ashram

Thirty years ago Shri Shivabalayogi Maharaj installed and consecrated idols of Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwara in the Temple at Bangalore. This ceremony is known as ‘Ashta Digbandhana.’

It is the tradition that the ceremony should be performed again to rejuvenate the energies within the idols after thirty years, and so Shri Shivarudra Balayogi Maharaj, Chairman of SSBM Trust, performed the ceremony again by invocation to Guru Maharaj Shri Shivabalayogi on this auspicious day of Tapas Poorti, celebrating the completion of Swamiji’s twelve years of Tapas fifty six years ago.
