My Master Gurudev Shivabalayogi has been a great, unique teacher. Very kind and forgiving, Master said that all religions are equal and honorable. He always spoke about Jesus Christ fondly and respectfully. He said that Jesus Christ was also a great Yogi. In Indian spirituality Yogi is like Son Of God.
In every religion humanity gets a chance in the name of a celebration to use that opportunity to get their consciousness uplifted to a higher level of happiness and awareness about the need of harmony and peace. Christmas is celebrated as Jesus Christ's birthday giving an opportunity to show one's honor to that great person who is considered as a Son of God. Who gave up his life for humanity. Throughout, he taught peace and harmony.
When Christ was born the King of that region, who was extremely cruel, ordered his men to kill all the infants for some superstitious belief. But the Divine had His own plans to help the humanity. Thus came Jesus Christ to this world.
These great words of Jesus always had an impact on our childhood mind. “Judge not, and you shall not be judged, condemn not and you shall not be condemned, forgive and you shall be forgiven. Knock and the door will be opened." The highest thing in his life was when he was put to crucifixion that he could forgive his tormentors. For a while he was disturbed and prayed, "My Father, why did you give me up? If you wanted to protect me, you could have sent sixteen thousand soldiers to protect me." But immediately after that His consciousness merged with the Divine and He felt no more helplessness. He could pray, "Forgive them, for they know not what they are doing."
In different parts of the world these spiritual giants have appeared from time to time. They have always advocated peace and harmonious life. The essence of such teachings is that humanity should learn to live for each other, with love and honor to each other. Consideration to each other. Always dream a better world where there is no hatred, no greed, no jealousy, and no narrow mindedness. Know that we all belong to each other, we need each other. Everybody wants to be loved but do not know how to love selflessly, that is a problem of human weakness. We must learn to feel the oneness of all beings.
My Master said, "You can believe God in any name or form, but respect other's beliefs also." This is for all. Then there will be Peace and harmony in the world.
Merry Christmas, happiness and peace to the universe,
Love and Blessings,
