Question: What is enlightenment?
Enlightenment in spirituality is becoming enlightened of the real Self. Common man has constant thoughts and can't still the mind. In meditation the mind loses all imaginations and gets purified. The mind comes to a standstill, that is, there is no wavering and the mind automatically goes introverted. There is no third way for the mind - it is either in the world or introverted. When there are no more imaginations left, the mind merges with the Self, like a drop going back into the ocean. Dhyana meditation is an advanced technique; it is like being directly promoted to an officer! When there is no more craving of the mind, you become enlightened about the real Self. It is impossible to define that state conclusively, you must experience it yourself. The mind is based only on imaginations.
